Whether elegantly casual or decked out in decadence, unique touches like helipads, submarines, fresco paintings and even a strategically placed mirror, can make a superyacht become an international "Super Star."  Two world-renowned showstoppers, all at a glorious 164’, are ready to shine at the Yacht & Brokerage Show on the Indian Creek Waterway on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach their home from February 11-15, 2010.

Westport Yachts - EVVIVA
EvvivaEvviva is Italian for "something beautiful or special,” the perfect name for this phenomenal yacht by Westport, part of their innovative164’ series.

Focusing on quality, efficiency and design, the W164 Evviva is a highly regarded model in the Westport line as a superior motoryacht that provides optimum performance combined with high style. Created by an all-star team including American naval architect William Garden, European stylist Don Starkey and Daryl Wakefield who was building 100-foot custom composite boats at Admiral Marine before joining the team.

evvivaStrategic applications of computer-aided design and manufacturing methods allowed the team to incorporate state-of-the-art, light weight, high-strength materials into Evviva’s hull, increasing efficiency and lowering maintenance costs substantially.  She can travel a remarkable range of 5,000+ nautical miles at 12 knots and cruise at 20 knots comfortably.  If that isn’t fast enough, she also comes fully equipped with a helicopter and helipad for easy access to any location in the world.

Elegant comfort exudes from the main salon where warming wood grain furniture was used to match the paneling veneers throughout the yacht.  Upon entering into the black marble foyer one is taken aback by the length, an illusion created by a perfectly placed floor-to-ceiling mirror.

Her six-stateroom layout features an on-deck, full-beam master decorated in fine fabrics, wood, stone and leathers.  The innovative interior layout includes a top deck VIP suite with its own sundeck, a formal dining room adjacent to a commercial-grade galley and a garage aft for tenders and toys, with an elevator that provides access to all interior decks.  The dining chairs are the utmost in comfort and are the second set bought for the space as the owners felt that the first set was not comfortable enough for a two-hour dinner party.

Of course, if one chooses to have a more informal meal there are small dining nooks everywhere onboard Evviva.  The owner’s wife explained, “We are people who like to eat with a good view!”  Even the bridge-deck lines taper toward the stern allowing for “side-deck terraces” with a table and chairs on either side of the sky lounge.
