Majestic Superyachts from Around the World to grace Indian Creek Waterway During the 22nd Annual Yacht & Brokerage Show, February 11-15, 2010.  Everyone Is Invited to Stroll the Docks for an Up-Close and Personal Look.

Bigger, faster and better than ever. The superyachts (80 feet and above) are back at the 2010 Yacht & Brokerage Show, on Collins Avenue and the Indian Creek Waterway, where exhibitors are pulling out all the stops to bring you a “show” like you have never seen before.  From interior designs, such as Hargrave’s 101 Euro styling by the renowned Ted Black Design Studio to Argos Yachts’ exclusive SkySuite, builders and designers from around the world will showcase their multi-million dollar collections of luxuriously unique vessels.  Below are just a couple of the extraordinary yachts being presented at this year’s show from February 11-15 in Miami Beach.

GulfstreamSHOW DEBUT: Argos Yachts – Gulfstream 92 Offshore Performance Yacht
The Argos Gulfstream 92 Offshore Performance Yacht is specifically designed to excel trans-oceanic voyages with reliability and safety. Her proprietary semi-displacement, hybrid hull allows for extremely low fuel-consumption at passage-making speeds (up to 27 knots), and the lowered hull all but eliminates rollover. The Argos Gulfstreams are the only motoryachts under 120’ to feature an amidships, upper-deck master stateroom -- the exclusive SkySuite™ -- which offers 270-degree panoramic views with unsurpassed privacy.  The crew-forward arrangement allows a full live-aboard crew to manage the vessel without ever infringing on the owner’s personal areas.  Her tri-deck layout and liberal 820 sq.-ft. split-level sundeck provides endless possibilities for guests.  Layout options can be configured to suit the owner’s needs, and include the master SkySuite™ with three generous staterooms and space for a crew or four, a SkyGalley™ and SkyLounge option for the upper deck with four staterooms and four crew forward or a five-stateroom layout with crew aft. Worldwide production of the Gulfstream series is limited to three vessels per year to ensure owner distinction and superior investment value.

lazzaraSHOW DEBUT: Lazzara Yachts – 2010 LSX92
The new LSX92 is still as sleek and sexy as last year’s model, but in 2010 she has an aggressive new attitude.  Her platinum paint shines on the water like a mirror, making her an immediate head turner.  Once on board, her performance is what will make you do a double take.  The installation of the bigger IPS II Quad is the absolute cutting edge of modern yacht design.  She boasts four drives, eight props and the marine equivalent of 4-wheel steering, oh, and did we mention that she has no thrusters? As with the entire LSX line, she has style to match her speed.

hargraveINTERNATIONAL DEBUT: Hargrave Yachts – 101’ VICTORIANO
Hargrave Yachts will be featuring 10 yachts at the show this year, the largest display by a custom yacht builder and the showpiece of their display is their new Raised Pilothouse motoryacht, the 101’ Hargrave VICTORIANO.  She is the second yacht in their 101’ series design trilogy and the first to appear with Euro styling by the renowned Ted Black Design Studio.  Expect guests on this beauty as she is built for serious entertaining.  VICTORIANO features a new elegant on-deck master suite layout and a second master suite for guests, features normally seen on yachts over 150’.  Marble counter tops and a full walk-in shower come standard in both the master and on-deck master heads. The Jacuzzi hot tub and ample lounge on the flybridge create an exciting entertainment center and her skylight is one of the largest seen on a yacht this size.  Guests can choose whether to sit in the sun or the shade at a touch of a button.

CHRISTENSEN REGIONAL DEBUT: CHRISTENSEN YACHTS – 160 Odessa
The 160’ tri-deck Odessa is the latest in Christensen’s Custom Series.  As the first full-color Christensen, she had to be eye catching, and they hit the mark with a gleaming black hull and metallic silver superstructure.  Her interior is minimalistic with Asian influences with furnishings selected by Armani Casa in conjunction with Robert Lowden. Odessa is also the first Christensen in which all the exceptional stonework was done in-house.  The spa deck takes full advantage of the 29’6” beam and features a hot tub forward, a U-shaped settee and an eight-stool bar with a BBQ.  The rest of the deck is left open for movable chaises and lounge chairs, perfect for open-air cocktail parties and entertaining.  Her hull is rimmed with underwater lights, providing an incredible effect when night falls.  Not a single detail was left unfinished on this beauty – including a custom paint job in the engine room.  As in many Christensen yachts is was finished with sparking red and black paint contrasting with shiny chromes and mirror-like surfaces for a one-of-a-kind look.

The Yacht & Brokerage Show offers free admission to the public and features new and pre-owned yachts ranging from 30’-160’.  For a complete list if exhibiting companies and vessel visit www.showmanagement.com.
