These biodegradable cleaners use innovative technology to eliminate hours of pressure washing. The technology comes from the use of ultrasound and an appropriate cleaning solution to clean delicate items. While normally used to clean medical supplies, the technology has been tailored to perfectly suit marine applications. From Drop-In Immersibles to Vapor Degreasers and the CHEM-CREST® Detergent Line, Crest Ultrasonics and Ultrasonics Depot have brought a variety of unique products to this year’s show.
KVH INDUSTRIES: TracVision HD7
KVH’s groundbreaking 24” TracVision allows boaters to enjoy DIRECTV® HD programming on the water, just like they do at home. FLIR Systems Inc. provides thermal imagers to many of the yachts you will see in this year’s show. Thermal imagers make black and white images from heat, not light, so they work as well or better at night than they do during the day. It also allows the vessel to see things from father away and with greater contrast than conventional visible-light cameras and night-vision technologies. The safety benefits of FLIR’s products are clear – they allow boat operators to see outcroppings of land, debris in the water, man overboard and any other potential hazard in the dark of night.
EJ Schrader Mattress Co., Inc. – Chemical Free Mattresses
The last thing you want to worry about when you lie down to sleep is whether there are chemicals lurking on your mattress. Many mass produced mattresses are stuffed with polyurethane foam and other synthetics that are treated with chemical fire retardants. E.J. Schrader manufactures organic mattresses from wool that comes from sheep grazed organically and processed without chemicals. Even their cottons are organically grown and likewise never treated with chemicals. As wool is also naturally flame resistant these mattresses pass current federal flammability regulations without chemical fire retardants. In addition wool naturally curbs the growth of dust mites helping asthma and allergies as well.

Webber will be highlighting his “Great American Yacht Classics” series featuring his most current portrait commemorating the rebirth of the vintage yacht Aphrodite (shown below) -- one of the most significant commuter yachts ever built. All editions are signed and numbered featuring legends highlighting the builder owner history plus original vessel specifications at the time of its launch.
