Exhibitors pleased with the Suncoast Boatshow turnout

The 30th Annual Suncoast Boat Show in Sarasota took place on April 20-22 at Marina Jack in downtown Sarasota. Early reports indicate that boat dealers, manufacturers and vendors were pleased with the turnout and are calling the show a success.

 Many of the Gulf Coast's leading boat dealers, such as Galati Yacht Sales, MarineMax Sarasota, Marine Dynamics, Sarasota Yacht & Ship and Cannons Marine, displayed hundreds of boats from well known manufacturers such as Sea Ray, Tiara, Viking, Cruisers, Grady White, Boston Whaler, Everglades and Jupiter. Boats displayed ranged from 10-foot dinghies to a 66-foot Viking along with four tents filled with marine electronics, products and accessories.

 On Friday, exhibitors saw a good turnout of quality customers, but the traffic slowed slightly on Saturday afternoon when the forecasted rain arrived with steady showers. “Had it not been for the rain, we would have had a record breaking show” stated Darren Plymale of Galati Yacht Sales and Mike Schutte of American Solar Products said ”the show exceeded my expectations”.

With vendor feedback indicating that sales were solid, a flow high quality potential customers, coupled with Marina Jack’s unparalleled dining in a spectacular facility with panoramic views of the marina, downtown, Sarasota Bay, Big Pass and the Gulf of Mexico, the Suncoast Boat Show continues to be one of the Gulf coast premier boating events.
