Boatbound, the fastest growing "pier-to-pier" boat rental marketplace in the United States, continued their mission of making boating more accessible, by giving away a brand new Bayliner Element (MSRP of $17,746) at the 54th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show®, the largest in-water boat show in the world.
"We were thrilled with the turn out for our Boatbound's Bayliner Element Giveaway at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. We had thousands of excited attendees enter the giveaway and one lucky boater went home with the prize. If you didn't win the Element, don't worry! Dee, (our lucky winner), is listing her new boat for rent on Boatbound, so you can still take the Element out on the water for a day of fun with family and friends," said Aaron Hall, Boatbound Founder.
Boatbound had a presence in the lobby of the Broward County Convention Center during the show, where people could see the actual boat being given away. The Element came equipped with a motor and trailer making it easy for the lucky winner to take it home.
"For the first time in over 10 years, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show® participated in a boat giveaway and it could not have worked out any better. The promotion received great publicity and the lucky winner was more than thrilled to win the boat, motor and trailer….And, they are going to get great use out of it," said Steve Sheer, Show Management’s Director of Marketing. “We look forward to 2014 where we plan on expanded this promotion to our other boat shows,” added Sheer.
