ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (November 21, 2014) - The St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show is set to take place from Thursday, Dec. 4 through Sunday, Dec. 7 at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts Mahaffey Theater Yacht Basin and Albert Whitted Park along the picturesque St. Petersburg waterfront.

You don’t need a big wallet in some cases and can even purchase a Big Skinney Wallet once at the show. Look for Big Skinney Wallets in the Powerboating Tent Booth 388.

People look to their phones for everything, why not to monitor their boat. Boat Command Corp. created CONNECT! to do just that. CONNECT! gives boaters the freedom to monitor and control their boats remotely from their cell phone, tablet, or computer.

Boaters can monitor their boat’s GPS location, battery voltage, temperature, bilge pump activity, high water level, shore power, engine hours, and boat security. CONNECT! generates reports based on what the device is monitoring. Users can view this information via the mobile app or website.  Look for Boat Command in the Powerboating Tent Booth 432.

Now you have a wallet and an app on your phone to monitor your boat..Now let’s go holiday shopping for your favorite angler or outdoor adventurer.  You’ve heard Paddleboarding is the latest trend and have that favorite nephew in mind.

Looking for a Stand Up Paddleboard is a lot like searching for a big fish. With over 75 different brands and hundreds of boards, the search can take on a life of its own.

Guests must be in the show prior to 7 p.m. to attend this event.
