Palm Beach 15 News Highly regarded as one of the top ten yachting events in the U.S., the Palm Beach International Boat Show will deliver the yachting lifestyle to downtown West Palm Beach from March 26 to March 29, with a stunning display of yachts, boats and accessories from the world’s leading marine manufacturers. The event includes hundreds of boats from 8 foot inflatables, power boats, fishing boats, center consoles, bow riders, personal watercraft to superyachts over 150’. Here are a few not to miss.

The 200' Custom motor yacht motor yacht 'Aurora', Previously named Phoenix,  was built by Lurssen in Germany,  and last refitted in 2010. Aurora's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in 6 cabins, comprising a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 16 crew onboard in 8 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.Aurora features a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Her generous deck areas play host to a wide range of amenities including an outdoor bar and ample space for sunlounging and relaxing. One of the finest classic Feadship-built yachts to date, the exceptional 52.12m (171') Gravitas was custom-built in 1995 by an experienced Feadship owner and has since benefited from a complete new elegant interior. Star is the fifth motor yacht built by Kingship in collaboration with Dutch Naval Architects Vripack International. She boasts a five stateroom layout with a private, full beam master stateroom on the main deck forward, two VIP staterooms and two twin guest staterooms (each with additional Pullman berths) on her lower deck. Her interior is elegant yet contemporary and, after a 2014 refit, features new decor throughout, including a stylish mix of Italian furnishings and eye-catching Oriental art. Her exterior spaces are also well thought out and comprises a bridge deck with sky lounge opening onto an uncovered aft deck and a partially covered sun deck with Jacuzzi, bar and barbecue. These large deck areas are perfect for alfresco dining and lounging. Ideal for long distance ocean cruising adventures, Star also features a large swim and dive platform so guests can easily spend their days in and on the water. Double Down News
Double Down | Length: 107'

Double Down is one of the most luxurious and customized Broward has ever built. In 2009, having been run less than 1,000 hours, she was purchased by her second and current owner and underwent a complete and extensive multi-million dollar interior and exterior refit. The refit included a hull/cockpit extension, a reconfiguration of the aft and fly bridge decks as well as a top-to-bottom interior refit, complete with state of the art electronics, appliances, audio/video and navigation equipment. In 2013, she was further upgraded with the addition of a sewage treatment plant, a smokeless engine exhaust conversion and larger stabilizer fins with full electronic controls. Her fuel economy, cruising stability, and overall amenities are second to none, making her a very rare find for the seasoned boat owner as well as the newcomer looking for a turnkey opportunity. In addition to the expansive display of yachts, boats and accessories, the Palm Beach International Boat Show also features educational activities and special events at the one-stop learning center for information and product knowledge located in the Meyer Amphitheater Field. Special events and seminars include Aquazone, the IGFA School of Sportfishing seminars, and youth fishing clinics presented by the Hook The Future. There will also be  a new on water Boat Handling seminar series.

Parking is conveniently located within walking distance of the show. Guests also are invited to come by boat and tie up to free Come-by-Boat docks located south of the in-water displays. Show entrances will be located at  Evernia St./Flagler Dr. (waterfront) and North Clematis St./Flagler Dr. (waterfront).
