FREE Kids' Fishing Clinics*:
Saturday & Sunday, December 4 & 5, 2010
Sessions each day at 12 Noon & 2:00 PM
Sign up on site at 10:00 AM
The Kids' Fishing Clinics, presented by Hook the Future, are open to all kids ages 4-16 and feature marine life experts teaching kids basic fishing techniques. Upon completion of all learning stations, participating kids receive a FREE rod, reel, and tackle kit.
Hands-on, interactive instruction includes:
* Casting a Rod & Reel
* How to Fight a Fish
* Selecting Tackle & Lures
* Tying Knots
* Fishing Ethics
Registration begins at 10am Saturday & Sunday and includes FREE child's admission to the boat show. Kids ages 4-16 must be registered and accompanied by a paid parent or guardian.

TWO-DAY MARINE METEOROLOGY WEATHER COURSE (Level 1) by Lee Chesneau

Sail America presents a two-day Marine Meteorology Weather Course by Lee Chesneau, Senior Marine Meteorologist, formerly with NOAA/NWS's Ocean Prediction Center. This two-day course provides a challenging follow up to Lee’s one-hour seminar and teaches mariners how to interpret High Frequency (HF)-Single Side Band (SSB) Radio-facsimile weather charts and predict marine weather.
