SUNCOAST’S LARGEST BOAT SHOW BRINGS GREAT DEALS FOR THE 27TH YEAR IN SARASOTA
Community Invited to View Hundreds of Boats on Display in Water & on Land
The Suncoast Boat Show, April 17-19, 2009 is the largest showing of hundreds of boats on land and in water in one location for three days only! There is no better place or time than right now to see the best deals on all your favorite brands. There are power boats, sport fishing boats, party boats, cruisers, inflatables and even megayachts. This three day marine extravanganza takes place at Ken Thompson Park/City Island, Sarasota.
Park free on site, or get there via your own boat, as the show offers plenty of dock space for show visitors.
And, new this year, purchase show tickets online at www.showmanagement.com and receive a $2 discount off the regular price. This is an online promotion only and will be in effect all the way until the show ends on Sunday, April 19th.
Presented by Mercedes-Benz, the 27th Annual Suncoast Boat Show will feature power boats, yachts, and fishing boats of all types and sizes. Plus, boat enthusiasts will find one of the largest selections of engines, electronics, and other marine products and services on display.
Hook the Future is sponsoring FREE Kids’ Fishing Clinics for children ages 4 – 16, accompanied by an adult. Marine life experts will teach kids basic fishing techniques and upon completion of the clinic, kids will receive a free rod and reel kit. Participating kids also get free show admission for taking part.
Over the past eleven years, Show Management together with Fish Florida, and Hook the Future have put over 35,000 fishing rods/reels into the Sarasota, St Petersburg, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach area communities.

Admission –
$8 for adults
$5 for children 6 – 15
FREE for children under 6
Kids 4 – 16 accompanied by a parent or guardian, will receive free admission when they take part in the educational Fun Fishing Clinics on Saturday and Sunday
Where: Ken Thompson Park/City Island, Sarasota, FL
Parking will be free and boaters can dock for free at the show’s “come-by- boat” dock.
When: Friday, April 17th 10 AM – 7 PM
Saturday, April 18th 10 AM – 7 PM
Sunday, April 19th 10 AM – 5 PM
Kids Fishing clinics on Saturday and Sunday will begin at 12 noon and 2 p.m. Registration begins each day at 10 a.m.
